Christmas Ornament

The Jadran Beaver Valley Junior Tamburitzans are currently taking orders for the2019 edition of their Croatian Christmas Ornament. This Ornament was designed by the group and is custom made specifically for our group and is one of a kind. This is the second ornament in our Sretan Božić Ornament Series.

All proceeds from the sales of these ornament will go into the Jadran Beaver Valley Travel Fund. This fund is used to offset cost for our performers when we do shows that are our of the area.

The Meaning Behind our Designs

2019 Christmas Ornament

The ornament is based on the Croatian Flag. The ornament is divided into 3 sections that are Red, White, and Blue.
The top red section is a Šestine Umbrella with Sretan Božić i Nova Godina in gold.
The middle white section is the crown of the Croatian Grb, deconstructed. The five crowning shield represented are, the Illyrian Coat of arms, the Coat of arms of Dubrovnik, Dalmatia, and Istria, and the Coat of arms of the Kingdom of Slavonia and are done in their historical versions. The bottom blue section represents the Adriatic Sea

2018 Christmas Ornament

The Ornament is decorated with many of the National Symbols of Croatia. The most notably being the Croatian Grb. A large Licitar Heart is located next to the Grb. The Šestine Umbrella is also prominently displayed. To round our the ornament there are 2 Croatian Dancers and 2 Tamburaši. All off the decorations are on a field of red.
